Geographic Mapping

GIST has developed a new online mapping tool to help illustrate to funders where investments are being made in policy, advocacy and communications work in the states, and to help foster connections across these efforts. There are *44 national networks and 1,361 unique state policy and advocacy groups currently represented on the map. The data for this map and a companion analysis is updated annually in the first quarter of the year. View a list of additional mapping tools here. Note that this is a work in progress. Not all key national efforts are represented here. State and local partners and priorities may change over the course of the year.

See below a brief video highlighting key features and illustrating how this mapping tool can be used to help shape and inform your grantmaking.

*Data from additional network partners who prefer not to share their information publicly is available by request.
