How to Talk About Medicaid Expansion in Your State
June 21, 2013, 12:30-1:30pm (EST)

The Affordable Care Act includes a significant Medicaid expansion, which could provide health insurance coverage to an estimated 17 million low-income adults and children. The Supreme Court ruling made the Medicaid expansion a state choice. These decisions will have enormous consequences for health coverage for low-income populations. State advocates, business leaders, and others can play a critical role in these debates. In this webinar, Bruce Lesley of First Focus joined the Communications Collaborative to provide an update on the status of the Medicaid expansion in the states, as well as advice about how funders might improve effective communication about Medicaid Expansion in the states.
